About Me
Building a trusting relationship is the foundation of effective therapy.
Hello, I'm Sayed
If you're feeling isolated, depressed, undervalued, or struggling with low self-esteem, I want you to know that you don't have to face these challenges alone. Perhaps you're looking for somebody to share your inner troubles with — someone who will truly listen without judgement.
The rocky road you're on needs somebody to accept you and listen to you unconditionally. That person can be me. I will accompany you on your journey of healing and growth.
My ideal client is somebody who recognises that their issues are negatively affecting their day-to-day life and their relationships with the important people around them. They need an empathetic listener who will be non-judgemental and appreciate and understand their essential needs in order to function in a healthy manner.
My Experience
My international experience spans over a decade. Since 2013, I have been helping adolescents, children, and adults who were in need of support and therapy.
I completed my MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy in 2019, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). My qualifications and training cover a wide range of therapeutic areas, including:
- Eating Disorders
- Shame and Self-Worth
- Bereavement and Loss
- Anxiety
- Cultural Differences
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, childhood trauma, or OCD — issues that often affect relationships with family, friends, or in the workplace. I delve into the issues at hand and work with you to create a plan for addressing your needs in a way that helps you get your life back.
Multilingual Support
I offer sessions in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Being able to express yourself in your first language can make a significant difference in therapy. Some thoughts and feelings are simply easier to articulate in the language you grew up with. If you'd feel more comfortable speaking in Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu, I'm here to support you in whichever language feels right.
I also have a deep understanding of multicultural contexts. If you're navigating cultural expectations, intergenerational differences, or identity questions related to your cultural background, I can provide culturally sensitive support.
My Philosophy
I provide a comprehensive approach that focuses on the holistic aspect of each person — mind, body, and soul.
My work is based upon the primary model of the person-centred/humanistic and integrative approach. I specialise in a deeper aspect of psychoanalytic vision, which puts you first, allowing you to flourish and envision your true self.
Your goal in working with me would be to learn to value yourself, raise your self-esteem and self-confidence, and change your train of thought from negative to positive. My aim is to help you feel safe and secure within your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Therapy is an important life investment. I am happy to work with you to keep it affordable, and I offer flexible payment options to help make counselling accessible.
